PART 3: The Truth Finally Caught Up With Him
Ethan tried to regain control by portraying himself as the victim. He insisted that I had disappeared with our daughter and claimed I was trying to destroy his reputation, but the facts were no longer on his side and too many people had already seen the evidence.
Detective Reynolds presented the findings gathered during the investigation, including records connected to child endangerment allegations, fraudulent filings, financial irregularities, and attempts to manipulate legal proceedings. The guests who had arrived expecting a wedding now found themselves witnessing the collapse of a carefully constructed lie.
Sabrina quickly tried to distance herself from the situation, insisting she had no knowledge of Ethan’s financial activities. That defense became difficult to maintain when documents revealed her name attached to several accounts and transactions that investigators were already reviewing.
As blame shifted between Ethan and Sabrina, it became clear that neither was interested in accepting responsibility. Instead of expressing regret for what had happened, they focused on accusing each other and explaining why someone else should bear the consequences.
