“You never demanded a private conversation?” Iris asked.

“Yes.”
Nora did not pretend otherwise.
The continuity system’s training archive contained thousands of private recordings from Iris’s home.

Moments of grief after Raymond’s supposed death.
Julian had used their marriage to train the corporate replacement.
Iris looked toward him.
“You recorded me in our home.”

Marcus found a continuity command issued that morning.

Judge Lang read the synthetic declaration beside the real woman standing in front of him.

A video of Iris appeared online.
She sat inside a medical room and said:
“I authorized St. Arden. Julian tried to stop me.”
The video looked real.

“Raymond Calder ordered my husband to take the blame if the program failed.”
Julian’s face collapsed.
