She planned to take Sophie internationally without Daniel’s authorization.
She knew the updated travel-consent document had not been signed by Daniel.
She intended Sophie’s removal to pressure Daniel regarding marital and financial negotiations.
No allegation she intended permanent disappearance.
No trafficking.
No attempt to steal trust assets directly.
No claim she intended physical injury from the suitcase.
Recommended sentence:
A defined custodial period.

Counseling.
No contact with Sophie during supervision unless a court later permitted.
Restitution for medical and therapy expenses.
Celeste refused one sentence.
Pressure Daniel regarding marital and financial negotiations.
