Noah did not sit feet from Derek answering hostile questions in open court.
His forensic interview, statements, and other evidence were handled according to rulings and applicable protections.
The defense still challenged reliability through experts and cross-examination of interview methodology.

Rights do not vanish because accusations are awful.
Emily testified.
She admitted every failure.

The doctor she did not call.
The times she minimized Derek’s violence.
Defense asked:
“You want this jury to believe you had no idea your son was swallowing metal objects?”
Emily said:
“I want them to know I missed what he was trying to tell me.”

“Missing it is not the same as putting them in him.”
