Denise claimed she left Dad’s house at 5:45.
Mark claimed she did too.

Laboratory testing found a mixture.
Mostly Eli.
Small contribution consistent with Denise.
Why Eli?
He had picked it up from the basement workbench after using it to wipe dirt from his scraped hand.
Why Denise?
She had handled it from the grocery bag.
The DNA did not prove she stayed late.
Then police recovered a Martin’s Market promotional app notification from Denise’s phone.
At 6:22 p.m. her phone connected to Dad’s home Wi-Fi.
Then again 6:41.
She was still there.
The coupon was corroboration.
Not magic.
That became important because people online later called it:
THE COUPON THAT SOLVED THE CASE.
