Chapter 7 - OLIVIA IN MY ROBEOlivia contacted Detective Harris through an attorney.

Smart.
She denied knowing anything about medication.
She admitted the affair.
Also smart.
No point lying about cloud video.
She explained the robe.
“I was cold.”
That almost made me laugh.
Daniel invited her to our house after he learned I had fallen and been hospitalized.
According to Olivia, he said the marriage was over and I would not return soon.
She asked:
“Is Claire okay?”
Daniel said:
“Concussion. The baby may not make it.”
Olivia came anyway.
I wanted to hate her for that.
I did.
But hatred does not establish criminal knowledge.
She said Evelyn arrived later and behaved strangely.
“How?”
“Calm.”
Then:
“She kept asking whether Claire remembered the fall.”
That mattered.
Olivia also remembered Daniel saying:
“Mom, what exactly did you give her this morning?”
Rebecca asked:
“When?”
“After the doctor called.”
“Exact words?”
“I think so.”
“Think?”
“I’m not certain.”
May you like
Good.
No manufactured certainty.
