“You let Linda enter my life.”
“I believed she remained loyal.”
“You ordered her to have me declared unfit.”
Marian’s expression tightened.
“I discovered Graham was preparing to sell the trust property. I needed legal standing before he moved it.”
“You could have contacted me.”
“Would you have believed a dead woman?”
“You could have tried.”
Marian looked away.
Like everyone else, she had chosen manipulation because truth might fail.
She admitted instructing Dana to create evidence of postpartum instability.
She denied authorizing sedatives, dehydration, or confinement.
“Linda escalated,” Marian said. “Graham prepared for death. Dana was supposed to keep Noah medically safe.”
Dana failed.

Emily asked why Marian demanded Noah at the motel.
“The trust requires living maternal-line verification,” Marian said. “His blood confirms yours.”
