The mansion, tower and River House separated from ordinary operations.
The pension deficit remained.
Lena could retain controlling shares and fund the deficit gradually through profits. That would preserve her authority for another generation.
Or the family could sell part of its economic interest into an employee pension trust.
Ethan’s assets required independent protection.
Marcus possessed a valid inheritance claim after Henry’s death but no desire to govern.
Each received separate counsel.
Marcus accepted compensation for decades of concealed paternity and wages earned as security chief. He transferred most potential voting shares into the employee structure for fair value, keeping ordinary investments.
He did not give everything away.
Lena retained substantial personal wealth and a diversified economic interest. She transferred permanent voting control into a board representing employees, pension beneficiaries, patients and independent directors.

The old executive chair was auctioned. Proceeds entered the pension fund.
Marcus did not bid.
Lena did not keep it.
The gala mansion required a different future.
Selling it privately risked turning the ballroom into a luxury spectacle. Preserving everything risked making Lena’s assault permanent entertainment.
The final plan converted the administrative wing into a financial-crime research center, the guest wing into temporary housing for witnesses attending long trials and part of the grounds into public parkland.
The ballroom screens remained.
They no longer synchronized hidden systems.

Lena approved the statement but no permanent use of her image.
The exact place where Adrian left her in the snow carried no statue.

A small exterior panel described the planned death certificate, assault and evidence release. It did not reproduce the threat in giant letters.
Lena’s body was not required to remain on the ground for visitors to understand the crime.
