MOM:

No. He’ll panic and come home. Finish the rice and sit down.

There it was.

No ambiguity about whether Maya requested help.

No ambiguity about Mom deciding against it.

Did Linda understand postpartum preeclampsia?

No.

Could she reasonably know the symptoms were life-threatening?

Maybe not fully.

Did she know Maya believed something was wrong and asked for her husband?

Yes.

She decided my likely reaction mattered more.

That became the moral center of the case.
