She reimbursed a negotiated portion of unsupported expenses.
Julian did too.
No handcuffs.
No federal raid.
No bankrupt empire.
Hartwell Hospitality survived.
Employees kept jobs.
Hotels remained open.
Julian’s equity was diluted slightly during a later recapitalization because he could not participate fully.
Financial consequence.
Not annihilation.
Robert’s investment was redeemed.
