Long career in education.
No substance issues.
Many positive community letters.
Also:
Multiple children.
Concealed locking.
Continued after warnings.
Physical incident with granddaughter.
Then parents spoke.
Rachel:
“You made me doubt my son when he told me he hated your sessions.”
That was devastating.
Josie’s father:
“I signed a form because I trusted your title.”
Then me.
I said:
“Drusilla loves Elowen. That does not make her safe without boundaries.”
Specific.
Then sentence:
County jail:
Ninety days, with sixty suspended.
Thirty days to serve.
Two years probation.
No paid childcare/behavior coaching during probation.
No unsupervised contact with unrelated minors through a business/service capacity.
Compliance with family-court orders regarding Elowen.
Parenting/child-safety education.
No use of locked isolation as discipline.
Civil fines from licensing separately.
Proportionate.
No years in prison.
Then my diversion.
I completed.
Assault charge dismissed.
Drusilla called that unfair.
Maybe she felt it was.
But facts differed:
