Cynthia eventually cooperated partially.

Her lawyer showed her the messages.
The financial exposure.
Potential charges for assisting false documents if evidence supported.
She decided self-preservation had changed direction.
Classic Cynthia.
She admitted:
She knew Ivan used my old electronic signature on a preliminary personal financial statement.
She believed I would later approve it.
She encouraged him not to tell me until refinance was ready.
She drafted the “capacity” declaration.
Why?
“To protect the company if Megan became irrational.”
Did she intend to have me declared incompetent?
“No.”
Did she intend to pressure me?
“Yes.”
Did she know Ivan might become violent?
She cried.
“He had never done anything like the grill.”
I asked Natalie:
“Is that true?”
We could not prove Cynthia knew he would physically assault me that day.
