Daniel moved her into Orchid protection.
Rachel agreed to serve as a decoy during public events while investigators identified the network.
The early procedures changed only her hairline, dental structure, and body measurements.

He also approved voice training.
“I thought a decoy could keep you safe,” he told Elena.
“You built another woman into my shape without telling me.”
“I never authorized the final surgeries.”
“But you created the project.”
“Yes.”
Rachel later disappeared with Orchid funds and completed the transformation through Malcolm’s network.
Daniel concealed the original payments because revealing them would expose that he had been studying Elena’s life as a security template.
The marriage had become an operational asset.
Elena looked at the man she had mourned.

“Perhaps she did not trap you. Perhaps she completed your plan.”
Chen turned toward Elena.
“I will authorize any independent oversight you request.”
“You cannot authorize oversight over power that should not belong to you.”
Margaret offered another route.
The original ownership ledger could dissolve Orchid completely if Elena, Daniel, and Vanessa authenticated together.
Elena could see the retinal markings.
Daniel carried the founder key.
Vanessa held Miriam’s blood claim.
Despite betrayal, violence, and secrecy, the three had to cooperate.
Vanessa stepped toward the console.
“I will sign.”
Elena looked at her bruised throat reflected in the glass.

“I know.”
“You will state everything in front of detectives.”
“Yes.”
“You will surrender every document Malcolm gave you.”
“Yes.”
No forgiveness was promised.
Only action.
Daniel inserted his founder key.
The system recognized him as alive for the first time since the crash.
Vanessa provided her blood authorization.

Rachel watched from detention beside the glass.

Then Daniel received a secure call.
A black SUV had arrived outside the private hospital.
The driver carried a sealed original trust bearing Miriam Ward’s signature.
The passenger requested direct access to Elena.
Security cameras showed an elderly woman stepping from the vehicle.
Margaret gripped the glass.
“That is Miriam.”
Vanessa stopped breathing.
Their mother had been declared dead twelve years earlier.
Daniel stared at the camera.
“I identified her body.”
Margaret whispered:
“You identified the sister she left in public.”
The history reversed again.
The woman known as Margaret may have been Miriam.
The woman believed dead may have been the other twin.

The elderly visitor entered using founder authority higher than Chen’s.
Before the elevator doors closed, she looked directly into the camera.
“Do not let Daniel open the last page.”
