Chapter 13 - Warren says Laura attacked first

Warren’s attorney offered his version.
Laura had become obsessed with financial accusations.
She searched his business records without permission.
Threatened to destroy his company.
On Thursday she confronted him.
Tried to take his laptop.
Ordered Emily to spy.
Warren said he put Emily inside the enclosure “for safety” because adults were fighting near the pool.
He denied locking it initially.
Then why padlock?
He claimed Laura locked it after he walked away.
Impossible according to Emily.
Judith.
And physical sequence.
So story changed.
He admitted closing the lock.
Called it:
“Temporary protective separation.”
That phrase made my attorney laugh.
Then Laura attacked him.
He pushed her away.
Accidental fall.
He drove Laura with him because she demanded to see the business storage unit.
She was free to leave.
At gas station, she ran because she had “worked herself into panic.”
And the bags?
Business records he discarded because Laura threatened to steal them.
Into his own pool?
Stress.
Warren’s version contained pieces of truth.
Laura had accessed business records.
She did confront him.

She did shove him while trying to reach Emily.
