Maya should never have been in it.
Caleb finished.
Trent admitted he ran when he heard the whistle because he believed police were coming for him.
He admitted he knew Maya had been seeing him.
He admitted he asked Diane to keep his presence quiet.
He denied asking Diane to put her outside.
Evidence agreed.
Caleb wrote back once:

You do not get access to my daughter. If that changes, it will be because she wants it when she is older, not because Mom feels guilty.
