Healing was not dramatic.
It was repetitive.
Dressings.
Moisturizer later.
Pain medicine.
Keeping Ellie from scratching.
A toddler cannot understand:

Then touched.
At the burn clinic, Dr. Shah said most areas were closing well.
No graft.
No infection.

Too early to know.
The facial area looked likely to heal especially well.
I cried from relief.

Ellie mostly cared about the stickers.
