Ethan recognized the surname.

“Your mother died during childbirth. Robert and I adopted you privately. Adrian was already our legal son.”
Ethan stared at her.
“You are not my mother?”
Margaret’s voice broke.
“I raised you.”
Adrian ended the video before she said more.
The phone’s location signal pointed back to Ravenswood Mansion.
Police searched the property again.
Margaret was not in the foyer, library, or hidden office.
Her signal came from inside the walls beneath the grand staircase.
