Please send the full guardianship order, including any expiration or subsequent modification pages.
Linda replied with a PDF.
The PDF contained page one.
Nothing else.
The receptionist responded:
Is there a second page?
Linda wrote:
This is the operative guardianship page.
That sentence changed things.
She was not simply handed a stale database.
She had been asked.
She chose.
The termination order sat in her home office.
George testified he had seen it there months earlier.
Linda knew.
Her attorney stopped describing the clinic problem as administrative confusion.
Now the defense became:
She believed the authority remained valid for medical purposes.
That legal theory had problems.
The termination order said:
May you like
All authority granted under the temporary guardianship is terminated effective immediately.
Not subtle.
