To Grant:
Get Bryce’s phone before Claire turns this into something. Make sure he doesn’t have stupid videos on it.
Grant did take Bryce’s phone.
But instead of deleting anything, he handed it to his lawyer after learning police might want relevant evidence.
Good decision.
The phone contained several videos.
Most harmless.
Snowball fights.
Cousins.
Christmas jokes.
Then one clip from Thursday.
Bryce filming himself walking behind Peyton.
He whispered:
“Watch this.”
The camera jerked.
Peyton shouted:
“Stop pushing me!”
Bryce laughed.
Walter’s voice from somewhere off camera:
“Bryce, knock it off.”
Then Peyton:
“He keeps doing it!”
Walter:
“Peyton, enough. Nobody likes a tattletale.”
Video ended.
I watched once.
Never again.
