“Where?”
“Dad moved him with Ethan to a Bennett rehabilitation property outside Albany.”
“Give me the address.”
“I want protection.”
“Tell the police.”
“I want you to promise the trust won’t prosecute me.”
“Trusts do not prosecute people.”
“You know what I mean.”
Arthur still believed information could purchase escape.
Clara refused.
“Oliver is a child. Ethan is my husband. Their location is not yours to trade.”
Arthur’s breathing changed.
Then he said the address anyway.
Perhaps fear finally outweighed calculation.
Police raided the property.
They found medication rooms, false patient files, and signs that children had been held there.
No Oliver.
