“What clause?”
“If her blood pressure exceeds the threshold again, the ring will classify her as incapacitated.”
Amelia looked at her biometric ring.

The woman continued.
“Take it off.”
The call ended.
A technician removed the ring immediately and placed it inside a signal-shielded evidence case.
Even disconnected, it began transmitting.

Amelia’s health data had been creating a legal incapacity record automatically.
Every blood-pressure spike strengthened the case for removing her medical and parental authority.
Vivian’s assault was intended to push her over the threshold.
