Evelyn turned away.
The pattern repeated across generations.
Adrian hid ownership to protect Evelyn.

Graham testified next.
He admitted preparing the divorce plan with Vivian. He confirmed Evelyn had not threatened the twins and that the paternity allegations were false.
His testimony damaged his mother.

Vivian stared at him with contempt.
“You would destroy your family for her?”
Graham looked toward Evelyn’s screen.
“I destroyed it when I believed you.”
Celeste then testified.
She confirmed Evelyn was competent.
She confirmed Alexander manipulated the embryo directive.
But she also argued no single heir should control Vale Crown.
She proposed a temporary family council consisting of herself, Evelyn, Marcus, and Daniel’s guardian.
Evelyn understood.

“You were never adopted.”
