Marcus knew.
He would sometimes take the rabbit away as punishment.
The night Sarah was injured, Lily had Bunny tucked under one arm when Sarah told her:
“Get your brothers.”
The rabbit was found near the kitchen threshold.
Sarah had put it into Lily’s hands automatically.
Then Lily dropped it while lifting a baby.
That detail convinced me more than dramatic claims.
