She knew I would refuse if asked.
She stole medication from Denis.
She understood it could cause sedation.
She denied intending serious physical injury.
The evidence supported that distinction.
Her sentence included a substantial but non-life custodial component, supervision afterward, treatment requirements, and protective restrictions.
Brooke received a significantly narrower resolution because she did not physically administer the drug but knowingly helped after learning what Eleanor was doing and failed in ways that crossed legal lines.
