Camille’s forensic accountant accepted approximately $168,000 as clearly traceable marital contributions benefiting the property.
Did that make Julian an owner?
No.
Could it support some reimbursement or marital offset?
Possibly.
The spousal acknowledgment complicated recovery from the trust because many improvements lacked required preapproval.
But divorce law still had to account fairly for marital spending.
I did not get to say:
Section Fourteen means you receive nothing.
Grandfather’s trust could protect title.

It could not turn me into a thief.
That distinction became important to my own character.
