I had said that.
At Harold’s hospital bedside.
Seven years earlier.
Context matters.
Still, the words existed.
Her lawyer argued the debit card was authorized through our household email and used openly.
Some purchases were clearly family-related.
Groceries.
Prescription copays.
Home insurance.
Property tax installments.
Others were harder.
Designer handbags.
Wine club.
Spa.
Hotel weekends.
Bonnie said those were reimbursements because she frequently hosted our extended family.
Could she prove it?
Sometimes receipts existed.
Sometimes not.
