Bath duration.
Number of exits.
Number of resets.
Crying rating from 1 to 5.
Medication indicator.
Sleep onset.
Night waking.
Next-day mood.
He had graphs.
Graphs.
My five-year-old daughter’s fear turned into lines.
Mark believed the data proved improvement.
Crying ratings decreased over time.
Exits decreased.
Sleep onset shortened on some medicated nights.
His lawyer argued:
“This was misguided parenting, not sadism.”
That phrase made me furious because part of it was probably true.
Mark did not appear to enjoy Sophie's fear.
He wanted compliance.
