Visits had progressed to unsupervised daytime parenting, then overnights.
Bathing remained complicated.
Sophie was almost eight.
She mostly showered independently with an adult nearby if needed.
The parenting coordinator asked her, through an appropriate child-focused process, what she wanted at Mark’s house.
Her answer:
“I can shower myself. Dad can remind me but not time me.”
Simple.
The plan reflected it.

No controlling crying.
