He claimed Walter threatened his family.
The threat was documented.
So were millions in payments and years of voluntary cooperation after his family had moved safely abroad.
Saye was convicted of medical fraud, unlawful infant transfer, kidnapping conspiracy, assault through unauthorized medication, and obstruction.
His license was revoked.
Captain Samuel Kim faced Rachel from opposite sides of a disciplinary hearing.
He had accepted Mercer shares, blocked searches, and certified Walter’s residential programs as secure. He claimed he remained close to preserve evidence.

“Did you tell me?” Rachel asked.

Rachel visited him once during custody.

“No.”
