Chapter 7 - I FIRE HER FROM THE HOUSE

The morning after the hospital, I ordered Aurelia’s belongings removed from the estate.
Immediately.
My attorney, Daniel Price, asked:
“Where does she legally reside?”
“She has a condo.”
“That is not what I asked.”
She had used the estate guest wing as her primary residence for nearly three months.
Mail arrived there.
Some clothing.
Medication.
Personal records.
Could I simply throw everything onto the driveway?
Probably not.
I had already told security to pack.
Daniel stopped them.
“Protective order first.”
I wanted to argue.
Then remembered the SUV.
The children needed safety.
Not another dramatic property fight.
We obtained an emergency no-contact order based on the incident.
Aurelia was barred temporarily from direct contact with Elliot and Clara and from the child-occupied residential wing.
She arranged retrieval of personal items through counsel.
No suitcases tossed onto grass.
No guards humiliating her.
Procedure.

I hated how slow it felt.
Slow was safer.
