Confirmed the genuine signed amendment.
Examined Richard’s devices.
Richard eventually faced charges tied to falsifying and presenting the altered testamentary instrument.
His defense argued he had created a proposed revision after Dad’s death only to illustrate what he believed Dad intended.
Then why present it as signed?
Because, according to him:
“Files were mixed up during grief.”
The evidence did not support innocent mix-up well.
Still, the case took time.
