But Andrew signed.
He asked the court to find Mom partially incapacitated and appoint him guardian of property and, if necessary, person.
His evidence:
Two missed bill payments.
The grocery-store driving incident.
Medication inconsistency.
Repeated questions.
A neuropsychological screening showing impaired delayed recall.
Statements from neighbors that Mom appeared confused.
A letter from a physician recommending supervision for medication and finances.
None invented.
Then he added:
“Paranoid accusations toward family.”
Examples:
Andrew hides my medicine.
Vanessa hit me.
Robert was afraid of them.
Someone changed the story about Robert’s death.
Those accusations were presented as symptoms.

A truthful complaint can look delusional if everyone around the person agrees it never happened.
