I said she’s fine
Patricia did not tell me.
Did not tell Daniel what Connor had admitted.
Did not call poison control.
Did not inspect the magnet case.
Why?
Because Connor had been in trouble for months.
Suspension.
School discipline.
Arguments with Melissa.
Patricia believed one more incident might get him removed from the school wrestling team or sent to live temporarily with his father after his parents’ separation.
She wanted to protect him.
So she downgraded information.
