I had forgotten.
Daniel set it up years earlier so she could check the house when we traveled.
System logs showed someone using Patricia’s account deleted two motion clips Wednesday morning.
Cloud backup retained them.
Why delete?
She admitted it eventually.
She had reviewed the dining-room recording after Connor texted her:
Camera caught some of it
Patricia watched.
Saw him handling Lily.
Saw Lily crying.
She deleted two clips from the local timeline.
Her explanation:
“I panicked.”
Did she know there were thirty-six magnets?
No.
Did she know Connor had forced at least something into Lily’s mouth?
By then, yes.
Did she know magnets could be medically dangerous?
She claimed no.
But she knew enough to hide video.
