No theatrical prosecutor argued he meant to kill his granddaughter.
The video showed rage.
Recklessness.
Intimidation.
A heavy object thrown toward people at close range.
The wall had a chipped section where the glass struck.
Fragments were recovered.
Daniel’s recording captured Rosie screaming after impact.
Dad’s first interview was defensive.
His second was quieter.
By the third, after his lawyer explained the video, he admitted:
“I wanted Aaron to stop.”
Stop what?
“Leaving.”
Why?
“Everything was exploding.”
That phrase would appear repeatedly.
Everything was exploding.
The party.
Bethany’s marriage.
The family.
What Dad meant was that truth was escaping the room.
He thought if he could keep me inside for five more minutes, Mom could calm Bethany, Daniel could put his phone down, and we could decide what story everybody would live with.
The glass was not part of a grand plan.
