Civil issues never became significant because medical costs were limited and insurance covered most treatment.
Bethany eventually accepted a plea involving assault on Rosie and child-related endangerment conduct.
The prior Caleb incident affected sentencing and family-court decisions but did not become a parade of inflated charges.
She received probation, mandatory behavioral treatment, parenting education, substance-use evaluation because alcohol had been present, community service, and a suspended jail component conditioned on compliance.
Dad pleaded to a misdemeanor assault/reckless-conduct offense related to the thrown glass.
Probation.
No-contact conditions around Rosie.
Anger intervention.
No heroic prison sentence.
No courtroom applause.
Mom was not criminally charged for grabbing my shoulder.
The video showed she tried to stop me leaving but released once I knocked her hand away.

That mattered more than forcing a weak criminal case.
