Cheater.
Inheritance baby.
Fraud pregnancy.
People invented an affair.
One man posted that I had probably killed David.
David died from a medically documented aortic dissection in a hospital.
Facts do not inconvenience the internet.
I stopped reading.
Then I made a better decision than my reporter mistake.
I issued one statement through counsel:
David and I used medically supervised assisted reproduction by mutual written consent. The pregnancy was conceived during our marriage as part of a documented fertility plan. We will address legal issues in court and will not publicly disclose private donor information.
No donor identity.
No medical details beyond necessary.
No attack on Eleanor.
The narrative changed.
Not disappeared.
But changed.
Eleanor’s accusation no longer sounded like secret infidelity.
