Determine the status of the unborn child.
Appoint a neutral administrator over David’s voting shares temporarily rather than allow Sterling and the named trustee to act without court oversight.
No judge instantly disinherited me.
No assets vanished.
Emergency probate orders are usually about preserving things, not deciding everything overnight.
The court temporarily restricted extraordinary transfers.
Ordinary household support continued.
Funeral costs paid.
Mortgage paid.
Business payroll unaffected.
Eleanor called that victory.
Her attorney used a more accurate phrase:
“Status quo preservation.”
Caroline told me:
“Never confuse a temporary order with the merits.”
