Chapter 11 - MY BAD TEXTI made my most useful mistake three days after moving to Dad’s house.

Julian texted:
You’ve destroyed everything over one argument.
I should have sent it to my attorney.
Instead:
You put your hands on me, tried to force me to sell my house, and lied about the loans. If you come near me again I will destroy your company with what I have.
The moment I sent it, I knew.
Too late.
Julian replied:
Thank you for putting your threat in writing.
Of course.
His attorney later used the message to argue that I was weaponizing allegations to gain leverage in the divorce and business dispute.
My attorney, Rachel Kim, asked:
“Did you intend to unlawfully harm his business?”
“No.”
“What did you mean?”
“That I would tell lenders and partners about documents if legally appropriate.”
“Then next time say that.”
“There won’t be a next time.”
“Good.”
My threatening language did not erase his assault.
It did complicate tone.

I disclosed it immediately.
No hiding bad evidence.
