His lawyer correctly argued a protection order should not decide property division by itself.
The judge agreed.
Julian’s marital financial claims would be handled in divorce.
But physical safety was separate.
The temporary order remained.
At the fuller hearing, the court reviewed:
My testimony.
Julian’s.
Medical documentation.
Police photographs.
The recording.
Messages.
His admission of physical contact.
The order was extended for a defined period.
Not forever.
Not a criminal conviction.
A protective measure.
