Caleb’s office manager, Brooke Ellis, hired a lawyer and cooperated.
She had processed the business guarantee.
“Did Rebecca approve?”
“Caleb said yes.”
“Did you speak to Rebecca?”
“No.”
“Why?”
“Caleb was owner.”
She looked ashamed.
“He told me their finances were joint.”
