The divorce was final twenty-two months after the party.
Not because of one shove alone.

No giant punishment transfer.
No one lost everything.
Noah spent meaningful time with both parents.
Daniel remained primary residence for school purposes initially.
Rachel rebuilt.
She closed the side business.
Kept her regular design job.
Entered a debt-management plan.
Sold her expensive SUV.
Moved into a two-bedroom townhouse.
Noah complained that the second bedroom was small.
