Meadow’s initial disclosure.
Recovered video.
Police reports.
Dennis’s admission that he deleted the clip.
The judge temporarily suspended Dennis’s unsupervised parenting time pending fuller review.
He could communicate with Meadow only under therapeutic or court-approved conditions.
Not permanent termination.
Not yet.
Dennis’s lawyer argued:
The incident was isolated.
Victoria was exploiting it because of the affair.
The push was accidental.
Meadow needed her father.
All arguments judges actually have to consider.
The judge said:
“The child’s immediate safety takes priority while the facts are developed.”
Temporary.
I left relieved.
Then Meadow asked:
“Did Dad lose me?”
I hated the question.
“No.”
“Then why can’t he see me?”
“Because adults are making rules while they figure out what is safe.”
“Are you one of the adults?”
“Yes.”
