Morton asked whether she would visit him.
“No.”
“Will you preserve my letters?”
“The court will preserve what belongs to the case. I will decide what belongs to me.”
Morton received multiple life sentences.
His assets entered restitution after lawful ownership claims were reviewed. The letter attempting to leave Harbormaster accounts to Emily had no legal effect.
He died in prison fourteen years later.
Emily received formal notice.
No hidden successor activated.
No replacement Harbormaster appeared.

He was convicted of manslaughter in Robert’s death, medical assault, unlawful confinement, falsifying death records, reproductive and identity fraud connected to the adoption clinic, and obstruction.
