The exact charges reflected:
The physical harm to Rosie.

Her attempt to sell property she knew was not hers.

Rosie had not been transported somewhere.
No attempted murder.
No torture charge invented for drama.
Bethany received a custodial component followed by supervised probation, required mental-health treatment, financial restitution, and restrictions on contact with Rosie.

His first offer would have required only probation.
